Club Maintenance – May 2024

A list of small maintenance tasks can be found below. We would appreciate any help you can give.

Oil benches. The oil, brushes and paint pots are in the members area on the desk.

Walk entire boundary of wood and check that all ‘Archery In Progress’ signs are secure.

Two old bosses and foam in trees in car park need pulling out so they can be disposed of or taken to the clubhouse.

Main bridge from the car park requires slats repairing and refelting.

Target 8 – used paper targets require tidying up and returning as rubbish.

Target 9 – the small bridge from the peg to boss needs two new 80cm slats or new bridge.

Target 9 – large bridge needs new 80cm slats where people are likely to step on the bridge to get to the target.

Target 13 – paper rubbish needs bringing in.

Target 19 – large amount of felt at the start of bridge needs digging out and bringing back to the clubhouse.

Target 19 – an old half boss in the water near end of bridge (it is overgrown) needs bringing back to the clubhouse.

Target 21 – the steps down to target have been repaired but need longer stakes as the fronts have moved.

Last bridge requires slats repairing and re-felting.
